Drink Drive Arrest and charged -A12

On Monday, 10th November, officers from Valentines, Newbury and Cranbrook Safer Neighbourhood Teams responded to reports of a multi-vehicle collision on the A12.

The road was temporarily blocked while officers carried out on-scene enquiries. As a result of these enquiries, an adult male was arrested on suspicion of driving while over the legal alcohol limit.

On Tuesday, 12th November, the male was charged with the offence and will appear in court at a later date.
